Disability Justice Gathering at the University of Illinois is an inter-disciplinary event that brings together students, community advocates, legal experts, and scholars for a series of conversations and activities to affect change on campuses around equity, access, and inclusion. This includes advancing conversations around self-advocacy and disability rights, intersectionality, invisible disabilities, encoding normalcy in digital ecologies, and much more!

Featuring talks and panels, community conversations, and a student led-design event, the Disability Justice Gathering seeks to bring together the community to address existing challenges in the name of creating spaces that embrace and celebrate the diversity of all persons.
