Dry needling is a technique that some physical therapists use as part of a comprehensive physical therapy treatment plan. Dry needling involves inserting a solid filament needle into the skin and muscles near a myofascial trigger point. Dry needling treats muscle tissue with the goals of inactivating trigger points, decreasing pain and improving range of motion.

Friday, a much KNEE-ded FUN FACT: π€£
The knee joint is surrounded by a synovial membrane that produces synovial fluid, which lubricates the joint and reduces friction during movement.
Are you knees aching or painful? Try applying ice packs or using over-the-counter pain relievers to help alleviate discomfort and reduce inflammation. Remember to rest and avoid activities that worsen your symptoms.

Keep your knees flexible and mobile with regular stretching. Incorporate gentle stretches for the quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves into your daily routine to maintain flexibility and reduce stiffness.

You can strengthen your back muscles with exercises like rows and bridges. A strong back supports good posture and reduces the risk of injury. Ask your physical therapist what exercises are safe and effective for you!
