Calling all of our volunteers! If you're in the Effingham area this summer, check out Jim Beam's Corner Cattery and give them a helping paw! Do some good, meet some cats, and get any volunteer hours you need! They're looking for volunteers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays anytime from 8 A.M. - 1 P.M.! 🐾🐈

Thank you to our volunteers for helping out at E.A.R.S. Effingham Animal Rescue Sanctuary Microchip event! It was a lot of fun helping out with the cats and dogs, and helping them get their microchips in! 🐶🐾

Cause For Paws is having a percentage night at Dirty's Bar & Grill! Come by Monday the 25th from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. to Dirty's for some food and drinks, and let your server know you're there for Cause For Paws or show them this poster, and a percentage of your purchase will be raised for an animal shelter in need! Cause For Paws is inviting everyone to our T-shirt contest! Create the design you'd love to see on our shirts and upload it to the QR code provided and one of your designs could become our new shirt! The winner will receive a shirt with the design and have their design on our shirts for the next year! Don't miss out! 🐾

Join us Wednesday, February 21st at 5:00 P.M. in the Shelbyville Room in the MLK Union to make Scooby Snack treats for puppers and humans alike! We'll be watching Scooby-Doo Where Are You? as well! We hope to see you there! 🐶🫓

Thank you to all our volunteers who came out last Friday to volunteer at Coles County Animal Shelter! We had a blast interacting with and giving attention to the cats and dogs there, and we're very glad to have such an opportunity! 🐾🐈🐾🐕🐾

Thank you to everyone who came out to make cat toys and watch Bolt with us last night! We made so many, and we know that all of our kitty friends in all the shelters will absolutely love playing with them! 😸🐾

Join us for our last meeting of the semester! We're meeting in the Shelbyville room, on the 3rd floor of the Union, at 5:00 P.M. today! We'll be watching a movie, having snacks, and playing games to ease the stress of finals week. We hope to see you there! 🎥🐶😸

Thank you Champaign County Humane Society for letting us help out in the annual Furball Gala and Auction! We got to help in packing up and handing out the auction winning. Thank you for inviting us to such a wonderful event and see how much was raised and donated! 😸🐾

Thank you to everyone who attended our craft meetings! We made chew toys using old shirts to donate to shelter animals, as well as bandanas for shelter dogs and cats who want to be adopted. Dogs and cats with bandanas and other outfits make it more likely for them to get adopted! We hope that they'll help out the adorable critters that they will be sent to! 🐶😸🧸🐾

Thank you to everyone who came out to our second meeting of the semester! We had a ton of fun making animal toys for the Douglas County Animal Shelter toy drive, watching Elemental, and having snacks! We know the pups will love their new toys! 🐶🐾

Hello new and returning Panthers! Come join the first informational meeting for Cause For Paws on Wednesday, September 13th, at 5:30 P.M! We will be meeting in the Edgar Room, on the third floor of the library. We will talk about what our goals are for this semester, have snacks and meet the newest member of the University Police Department- Officer Penny! We hope to see you there! 🐾

Cause For Paws had the honor to join Jim Beams Corner Cattery at their first Catapalooza event! The event was a fundraiser and to raise awareness for their feline rescue facility, and it was a blast to be there and help set up with the raffle, music, and food! 🐈🐾🎉

We're very grateful to everyone who came out to the meetings & helped out with volunteering this semester, and we can't wait to come back next semester!
