Should Cell phones be allowed in schools? It’s a big discussion parents, students, and officials have been talking about over here at Fall River Public Schools. Officials recently passed a cell phone ban for students 6th through 12th where they place their phones in a pouch and it locks until the end of the day.

But it has yet to be enforced and students and parents still have their questions. I’ve been following this since it was announced and I’ll have more at 4&5 on NBC 10 WJAR

I have some bittersweet news to share that this Friday will be my last day with WCIV | ABC News 4

A huge Thank you to the wonderful lowcountry for opening your doors to me and sharing your stories. The little moments when someone would come up to me and tell me that they appreciated what I was doing, made all the hard work worth it.

Charleston has truly become my second home. I gained sisters, lifelong friends, and a start to this amazing career that I am forever grateful for. There is truly no place like it. And man am I going to miss my team at News 4, that is one hard working group of journalists and I’ll continue to watch each of you shine.

Fortunately, my time on TV is far from over !!!! I will be packing my bags and moving up North to Providence, Rhode Island!! I will be a Reporter with NBC 10 WJAR!! Can’t wait to be in a state close to family and more importantly close to my favorite place in the world (Martha’s Vineyard!!🤣) l am so excited to continue growing in the career that I love and looking forward to beginning this amazing chapter!!

The AM team is adding a little new member!!! So happy for you both!!! You are going to be the best mom!

The most joyful personal news I’ve ever had the privilege to share 🤍 we’re finally going to be parents 🙏🏼

The journey to get to this day has been silent yet incredibly long and arduous after first being told we would never have children. It evolved into recurrent miscarriages, multiple IVF egg retrievals, an endometriosis diagnosis and hours long surgery and finally the discovery of reproductive immunology and alloimmunity. I had to send my bloodwork to another country to get some answers and luckily the only doctor in the US that treats this specific condition answered a frantic Instagram message one January day.

It’s a story of personal advocacy I feel a responsibility to share sometime soon, for other people who walk this often hopeless path. We are forever grateful to the 5 incredible doctors and multiple nurses for giving us a chance. We knew there always was one 🌈
