Hi everyone! 👋🏻
My name is Sarah and I’m the founder of Sarah Alexis. I figured it was time for me to tell you a bit about myself!

First, I grew up in Raleigh, NC and went to NC State’s College of Textiles (Go Pack🐺)! My grandmother was a master seamstress in Henderson, NC and introduced me to sewing at a young age. I always knew that fashion was my calling and before starting Sarah Alexis, I spent 9 years in the apparel industry as a Technical Designer mastering the art of fit and construction of garments. I love how things are made and get a lot of enjoyment out of bringing sketches to life.

Second, the best part of my day is seeing people wearing my clothes. I can’t begin to describe the feeling, but it’s really fulfilling to me to see y’all enjoying pieces that I’ve poured my heart into! It really is something else!

Third, I love supporting small businesses! Boutiques, artists, small brands, farmers markets - you name it! I love shopping small and I think it heavily influenced why I wanted to start my own company!

When you’re excited for Fall 🍁, but you live in the Southeast and it’s still 80 degrees out! Here’s some tips for transitioning your wardrobe..
