He services machines all over the state (including many in neighboring states), he takes care of all of our long-distance deliveries and on top of that, he has worked himself within the Top 200 nationwide in HP Large Format/DesignJet sales! Very impressive for one single sales rep with a small company in WV going toe-to-toe with the big-box guys! Keep up the great work Rich!

Your position at Charleston Blueprint: Large format print/scan - "Oce"

How long have you worked here: 4 months

What motivates you to work hard: One's work ethic is a reflection of their character. It's personal. Besides, many others depend on me, mostly my family.

Hobbies? Yard work and breaking equipment. On the rare occasion, surf fishing and at every chance, making people laugh.

Favorite food: 1-Cheeseburgers, 2- Cheeseburgers 3-any Italian or Mexican food 4-Anything digestible, Oh, wait! 1A-Eggs and bacon!

What do you do in your spare time: Yard work and repairing equipment. Talk. Read. I love writing but my fingers can't keep up with my mind, it's frustrating.

Who is your hero? Nature. My family, who are all beautiful ladies. And Saffy.

What is your proudest accomplishment? A lifetime of making people smile, a lifetime of love, lots of love!

Favorite band: Bad question, can't say. I'm a 70's rocker but love all types. Depends on mood/circumstance. Listening right now to Melody Gardot - "Once I Was Loved"

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be? Desolate stretch of beach on Hatteras Island or the open ocean on a sailboat. Or to just be at home.

What do you do in your spare time? I enjoy spending time with my husband working on our street rods.

Getting to know: Katherine 🥴

Your position at Charleston Blueprint: Print Production Assistant

How long have you worked at Charleston Blueprint?: It will be 2 years May 2024.

Hobbies: Yoga, cooking, traveling, listening to podcasts and audio books, small crafts like bracelet making

Favorite Food: I do not have a favorite food BUT I do love to cook. I love trying new recipes and combining new flavors.

What do you do in your spare time: At the risk of sounding like the most boring person alive – I am a homebody. I take a lot of pride in caring for my home and for my loved ones – my husband and my two dogs. I also like to spend time outdoors – hiking, walking, or being near water. I also spend a good amount of time stretching and practicing yoga.

Who is your hero? Big question – my mom. My mom, Brenda, has done everything in her power to live her life for her loved ones. She’s made big sacrifices and loved us all no matter what. She inspires me to be patient, strong, and caring every single day. She also reminds me of how important it is to take care of myself.

What is your proudest accomplishment? I am really proud of the fact that I own my home with my husband. We managed to buy a house in August of 2020 – we turned that mess of a year into one of the best things in our lives today.

Favorite Band: One of my favorites is Death Cab for Cutie. Hate the name, love the band. They have been making music the majority of my lifetime. I have seen them 5 or 6 times now, most recently this past September in MD with my two best friends.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?: I have traveled a little bit – I was a travel agent in a previous life. I have been all across the country, Canada, France, Portugal, and Switzerland. I would love to travel to Central America and most extensively travel through Northern and Eastern Europe into Turkey and the Middle East. I wouldn’t say no to traveling just about anywhere.

I was kind of hoping this one would be chosen last, as he is the longest tenured employee in the company. If you've worked with Charleston Blueprint much over the years chances are you've met Mr. Frank Turner. He started out in Charleston but now runs our Teays Valley office.
