The evolution of human behavior as we age is deeply intertwined with our psychological and physiological changes.
One key factor is the concept of socioemotional selectivity theory. The theory, developed by Stanford psychologist Laura Carstensen, suggests that as we perceive our time left in life as increasingly limited, we subconsciously prioritize emotionally meaningful experiences and relationships and are more selective in our everyday lives as to whom we choose to be around and how we spend our time.

So remember this loves, actions often speak so loudly that words are not even necessary. Don't deny what you see with your own eyes, and feel with your heart.
Trust yourself completely. ❤️

The relationship you have with yourself is the most important one in your life. You are the only person who will be with you throughout your entire life, so it's important to treat yourself with kindness, compassion, and respect. When you love yourself, you acknowledge your own worth and prioritize your own needs without relying on others to fulfill them. This doesn't mean being selfish or neglecting others, but rather approaching all your relationships from a place of wholeness and self-respect. By loving yourself, you can cultivate deeper connections with others and live a more fulfilling life. 🙌
Grief is the reminder that love was present, and that even if it's no longer in its original form, that love still exists.
