I showed up at Scott Moody’s place thinking that I had one detail to do for the day and that would be it, i had planned this day to be a short one so i could rest up for the day and be prepared for my busy week. I was halfway through with his Truck when he asked if i’d handle his other two vehicles while i was there. I thought about it for a second, weighing my options in my mind, then said “sure, i’ll take care of them for you.” I’m glad that i did, While i was there i met his wife and his son and had a few short conversations with each, They are a wonderful family. Worked from 7pm to 3am on this beautiful piece of history that was paint corrected, polished and waxed for a richmond hill resident named Shelby. Shelby and her husband Clint sat and talked with me for the first 5 hours of me working. When i say that these are two of the most honest, welcoming people i’ve met, that’s exactly what i mean. There were several times Clint asked “we’re not holding you up are we?” And each time i answered “Most definitely not, i could work on this car and speak with you guys all night”. When life puts people like these 2 in front of you it’s hard not to be inspired and have gratitude for life. Shelby works for a company dealing with fork lift mechanics and parts distributions, While Clint is a business owner who specifies in Flooring installation of any and every kind you can think of. This 2019 Tesla was detailed for the Whitehurst family out in Rincon yesterday. They have a few dogs that like to take a ride every now and again and let their fur feel the breeze. That fur will always find itself intertwined with your carpets and some carpets make it very difficult to get it out.
