I’ve noticed that some of you are having trouble signing into the Power BI desktop application(email issues) to get started. You do not need to sign in to go through the training. You may skip steps 3-4 in Lab 1 if you do not have a business email. The “business email” address is only needed when you want to publish the report to the web or share it with a colleague if you’re using Power BI in a business setting. I’ve updated the training with a note to help others out when they run into this issue.

I noticed a lot of people are asking for windows laptop recommendations to do the trainings. Well their are some great deals on Facebook marketplace for laptops. Corporations usually sell their windows computers for dirt cheap when they upgrade. You just want to make sure it has an i5/i7 processor and 8gb of Ram/Memory.
