"Seascapes from Above No. 1" is 16 inches by 20 inches.

I found this abstract treasure while taking inventory. I painted this while dreaming of paradise islands one summer evening. I had a vision reminiscent of an aerial map and couldn't wait to put my spin on it. A rare combination of techniques makes this painting stand out in my portfolio. The extra broad brushstrokes dance over a water-marbled emerald and turquoise sea. I can almost hear the palm trees rustle in the ocean breeze every time I view it.

“Moths and an Eclipse” 22”W x28” H
I love the evenings. They are a magical time when the world is transformed from noisy chaos into stillness and wonder. Celestial bodies dance proudly above for those who observe their majesty. Moths also emerge in search of glorious light. Much like humans, moths can get distracted from the true light from the heavens by artificial and man-made lights on earth. Let us remember the true light that we are after is God’s shining presence, and not be distracted by dangerous counterfeits. This piece features dazzling metallics that shine differently based on the amount of light and type of light that casts upon it. Notice the brushstrokes unique patterns that give the background rhythm and movement.

“Magnolias” 20x20in premium acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. Magnolias have been the symbol of the Southern woman since before the founding of the United States. The gorgeous and feminine flowers are much stronger than they look. They can endure many hardships like unrelenting heat, drought, over trimming, winter cold ,and spring freezes. They adorn the tree for months at a time content to add their beauty to many homes and gardens. Much like the Magnolia, you are tougher than you appear. You are radiantly beautiful and wonderfully made. You have the strength to endure life’s hardships and challenges and stun everyone with your true metal. This painting also features subtle metallic accents adding further depth and completion to the image.

My current work is coming together slowly but surely. The key to producing your best work is to paint like you have all the time in the world.

"Grace to Grow" This painting has incredible significance to me. It is a monument of how much God has done in my life. I have come to a place of celebrating how God created me and not depending on the approval of others. Every day is a learning opportunity to become more of who God made me to be. As a neuro-diverse person, I have heard a lot of criticism and commentary about things I cannot control. This painting represents the full surrender to God. I don't need everyone to "get me" or understand me fully. I am fully loved and accepted by God and my loved ones. Psalm 139 says, that in the earliest stages of our development God knew us. He delighted in us and knit us together exactly how he wanted us to be formed. Each and every one of us is a different expression of God's image. How cool is it that there is nothing about your physical makeup that God would change? How he made you shows off his glory in a unique way. Be encouraged by the all-encompassing love of Father God for every part of you. *UNAVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

Pottery making is a beautiful process. The potter sculpts clay subtly over time to form the desired vessel. Sometimes in life we experience situations that lack clarity. We can feel unsure of God’s work in our lives because all we see is a mess swirling around in circles. God is artfully taking his time forming that situation into something useful and beautiful at this very moment. Life is a continual transformation process for the believer. God uses all things and molds us into the person we have always dreamed of becoming! It can feel slow and awkward to us, but God has a wonderful vision. He promised that he will bring his good work to completion.
