As of today all of our rats and lines have been successfully transferred to our friends MKT Reptiles & Rattery of Virginia and Sunny Savannah Rattery of Georgia!

We are so excited to have such good and reputable friends in the rat community to help us carry on our lines and very much look forward to the future of the Rattery!

A HUGE and special thanks to Rakel at MKT Reptiles & Rattery and Jacki Zirpolo of Sunny Savannah Rattery for opening up their homes to our mischief.

Unfortunately, I do not have time to go through the applications and explain the questions so it will be a one and done.

Hi All! I realize there’s been some issues with the website not working..

What I will be doing is working on a printable/downloadable version of the adoption application along with asking individuals specific questions surrounding adoption.

Unfortunately there is a time crunch on this to get all my rats homes within the next 2-3 weeks, so PLEASE, if you or anybody you know wants rats please reach out here or on my personal page or even my Rattery instagram!

I will still be conducting and requiring proper adoption forms be done before you’re able to adopt so please be sure you’re getting those done through our website!

As sad as we are to make this post… it looks like despite our best efforts we will be closing our Rattery doors.

We tried to pull every string we could to make it work, but it’s just not in the cards for us to keep going.

Good afternoon fellow rat lovers,

I want to apologize for not making this post sooner and leaving you all hanging. Without disclosing too many details at this time, please just know been a tough week for us here. We’re working through the hardships, so if you don’t get a response from us that is why. We have a lot of personal matters that have had and will have our attention for a little while.

We may still post what we have available if there’s time for that. Thank you all so much for your understanding.

We have a few pairings underway! We’re planning for more harley (fingers crossed in harvel this go around), dwarf, tonkinese, marten and really hoping our downunder takes!

As of today our transport service, Hippity Hop Express, has decided to no longer carry mice or rats on board for reasons that her clientele disagrees with, but for reasons none the less.

Moving forward we will be searching for a new transport service to try so that we may be able to send rats further out within the US.

In the meantime, we are only able to offer more localized transport that includes us driving 1-2 hours out to meet adopters from our South Charlotte, NC 28277 location.

In case we haven’t said it before.. We LOVE LOVE LOVE updates on our rats! Here are 2 of our first dwarfs that we sent to a new home via our transport service back in March of this year! Their names are aptly “Popcorn” and “Kernel”!

They have 2 new big brothers and humans that have spoiled them rotten! 💕💙

Due to no fault of their own these girls have been returned to our Rattery as their owner has gone to college and could not take them with her!

They were born in February of 2022 and so they are just over 1.5 years. Both are healthy and said to be wonderful snugglers! DM the Rattery if you’re interested in taking them home.

Ignore the terrible scruff. It was to show her chest markings! She has some blue spots on her chest as well as a whiter spot. She is silvermane and has ruby eyes! Right now she’s a mystery. We’re thinking blue beige or maybe dove roan silvermane

SO. Our silvermane genes are strong here! All of our girls besides ONE marble girl ended up being Silvermane. I will be redoing pictures for them to show their new and improved coloration/softness! I expected a few to maybe be silvermane, but not the whole bunch!
