To all of the donors who dropped off coats, we send a heartfelt thank-you for supporting our organization and the One Warm Coat Program and its mission to provide free coats to children and adults in need.
We’re so ‘Egg’cited about hosting our first annual Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon for children at

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the historical, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also observed in support of taking action against gender inequality around the world. We all know the world couldn’t run without women (we mean, just listen to Beyoncé). This is the day to appreciate their efforts!
Black History Month is a time to recognize the important role of Black individuals in American history and celebrate their achievements while acknowledging that there is still work to be done in the movement toward racial equality. To help you reflect on what Black History Month means, we've rounded up some of the most moving quotes from influential Black figures. From civil rights activists to world leaders, these individuals have paved the way for the future of our country.
Why is it so important to give back to your community?
It is important to find a cause you love and volunteer in your community. Spending time enriching your community is a great way to broaden your perceptions of the world. By immersing yourself in a community and surrounding yourself with people who are dedicated to bettering the world, you can learn so much about how the world works. You gain a unique sense of purpose by serving those around you, one which often manifests in other areas of your life.
I want to thank everyone who donated or volunteered for helping to make this year’s Christmas Eve Box drive/Christmas Party a success.
The day ran smoothly, the kids played games, ate good and by the laughter in the room they seemed to enjoyed themselves.
We gave out coats, shoes, birthday gifts, Christmas Eve Boxes, and prizes to our game winners.
This is A Celebration for You Foundation’s 3rd annual Christmas party for children at The Harvest Center and it wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of countless people who donate, volunteer during the event itself, and clean up afterwards. Thank you for helping to make the day possible!
Thank you to the donors who contributed to making purchasing gifts from the birthday boy and girl’s birthday wishlist. 🎁
Special shout-out to Two Cute Confections for their donation of 48 cupcakes. They were delicious! The kids kept coming back for seconds.🧁🎂

To me, it is important to celebrate milestones. It is as much to recognise the journey that you have been on as it is to give the opportunity to set new goals for the future.

Hello October!
And the sun took a step back, the leaves lulled themselves to sleep, and autumn was awakened. 🍁
Today we delivered birthday gifts to 3 amazing children living The Harvest Center of Charlotte
There's something inexplicably satisfying in witnessing children unwrap a gift and respond with unadulterated amazement and happiness. You have made them smile, and that's worth far more than money or any material item.

I was in the middle of creating the Birthday Wishlist Flyer for this months birthday child living at The Harvest Center, when I heard our organizations Cashapp notification. I checked the app and to my surprise there was a monetary donation from one of our supporters. Dana Land, words cannot express the grateful appreciation we feel for your generous gift. We were able to purchase all 3 gifts from the wishlist.
Thank you for an unexpected but caring gift. Such a nice surprise.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
Today we celebrate moms, but homeless moms or moms living in transitional housing are usually forgotten. This Mother’s Day we decided to do something special for the moms residing at The Harvest Center of Charlotte.
Every mother who resides at The Harvest Center is working towards self-sufficiency, independence, and better future for herself and for her children.
In an effort to make these moms feel special, A Celebration for you Foundation gifted each mom with Pedicure in a Jar. A special “thank you” to our Executive Director Nina Massey for dedicating her talent and items (including making homemade foot scrub) to make the moms feel fantastic!
The communities continued support allow us to provide these types of gifts for the residents of The Harvest Center as well as other beneficial programs.
Thank you!

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of meeting 7 wonderful kids between the age of 7-17 at The Relatives Youth Crisis Center . We gave each child a 8x10 blank canvas and asked them to write a encouraging quote they repeat to themselves when they are having a bad day or need inspiration. We came prepared with quotes of our own just incase they didnt have one. To our surprise, each child already had a quote memorized. Our hearts melted🥰. Take a look!
