Couple weeks out!!! Bring yer butts out to watch some skating, grab some dogs, sip a couple beers, shop at some most excellent vendors and help a great cause (that I just happen to run). Specialty hot dog of the day will be The Capered Crusader!! Grilled white cheddar cheese skirt, grilled all beef dog, arugula lettuce, lemon caper aioli, and some butter drowned, Old Bay dusted panko bread crumbs on top. This one is ridiculously tasty. If you don’t love it, you should check yourself! Hope to see you then. OR ELSE!!!

Hey foodies! Can you believe how fast this year is flying by? We're almost to April already and craving some delicious food truck vibes! 😋🚚

Let's dish about food truck events and spill the beans on what these rolling kitchens need to make an event a success! Did you know that savory food trucks need a whopping 40-50+ hungry fans just to break even during a 2-3 hour event? 😱😱 And if we're talking about dessert, snack, or drink trucks with their tempting treats and lower prices, that number doubles!

If you're thinking of having food trucks regularly parked in your favorite spot, whether it's your neighborhood or office park, but you're not sure about hitting that magic number, fear not! You can sweeten the deal by offering a guaranteed minimum to the food trucks. It's like a culinary safety net for them, covering their gas, supplies, staff, and all the good stuff. 😊

Here's the scoop on guaranteed minimums: If the food truck doesn't make at least $X, the hosting location chips in to make up the difference. 😁 You get to set the value for X, but most food trucks won't roll up for less than a $400 minimum. That's because it typically represents the 40-50 orders needed to break even. For instance, if the truck only rakes in $350, the location kicks in $50 (or grabs $50 worth of food!) to reach that minimum! 😇😇 The higher the minimum, the more diverse and delicious food trucks you'll attract to your foodie haven! 🌮🍔🍕
