NCHSA Brushy Mtn Hare Scramble race this Sunday 7/28 in Taylorsville, NC.

Yes we are racing.

Saturday and Sunday weather look great with temps in the 80’s.
The track is very raceable. It’s been so dry for months. Tyler has laid out a great course. There is standing water in places but it’s not sloppy muddy. I’ll post pics on Saturday afternoon.

You can walk or bicycle the course on Saturday.
$10 gate fee ages 6 and up.
Camping is available at no additional charge.

Classes for all ages and skill levels. Never raced to Expert level. Classes can be found on the website noted below.
Trophies are 1 per 2 riders in each class.

Online signup is open until 7p on Saturday. Anyone that has raced this year can use online signup.

NCHSA rnd 8 this Sunday 7/28 at Brushy Mtn riding park in Taylorsville, NC.
Finally getting some rain this week which is great. I’ll post again around Thursday.
Current track conditions are excellent.

The big hill climb at the parking lot will be in this time around. They have also added in a giant turn track. All the jumps have been removed from the old MX track. Very fun turn track.

I’ll post more details later this week.

If you paper signup on Sunday, be sure you choose the correct line at the trailer. Each race has a signup time and each class has a specific window. Noted in the photo below.
Online signup uses the far left lane.

We will move quickly on the starting line to keep you wait time to a minimum due tot he heat. It is your responsibility to be in the right class and the right row.

My race fuel journey continues for my YZ250F.
Palmer Motorsports was sold out of the Fuel Factory MXR 4T that I have been running. So I took it up a notch to their 2WL. Almost 9% Oxygen!
Split half with pump gas this stuff was still amazing!

Giant difference from pump gas off the bottom and mid range pull. Acceleration out of turns is so much improved.

Split half with pump gas keeps the cost around $15 per gallon.
If you are looking for a little more power without spending thousands.
