As soon as I hooked this fish, it headed straight to nasty cover. I immediately jumped out of the boat to chase it. My fly line was wrapped around both my feet and I got tangled in some fishing line that was in the river. Took me about 45 seconds to get everything cleared and the fish back into open water. As soon as it seems things are in my favor. Game over. Gar fishing will push you to the limit.

Flynt got it double done on truly the last cast of the day. He had many takes, a few long distance releases, and a heartbreaker that went under a tree. On his last cast he hooked a great fish, as soon as it hit the net the hook came out, hit the water and another fish grabbed it. #twoforone #lastcast #double
