Yes everybody. I am still in business. I’m just really bad at posting. 😩. I hope to be better, but I appreciate the much needed time to refocus and restructure a few things with my spa. I’ve been doing a lot of mobile services and I am enjoying being a little more versatile with my job. Today I did a chemical peel and a dry brush treatment on my client. We are getting winter skin ready for summer.

One of the many areas that can be treated with ultrasonic cavitation is the arms. This is after 2 treatments. She will continue her treatments to get the desired results. Melasma is a pesky skin condition that is triggered by UV light and it is influenced by hormones. Melasma is very tricky to treat. Many devices that we would normally use for hyperpigmentation would make the condition worse, because heat, just like UV rays will activate the melasma. I have been using a treatment called microdermabrasion on her face for several months. I combine it with an enzyme peel and a hydrating mask. Microdermabrasion is a tool with an abrasive end that exfoliates the outer layer and stimulates new skin cell growth. The epidermis that forms after the procedure has less pigmentation and discoloration. There is no pain or downtime with this treatment.
