Public House Chattanooga

A few shots of our guys making things look great!

It has taken me a few weeks to process the events of the past month, and this is going to be a little bit long.

Starting on January 1st, we destroyed a fully operational restaurant and tried to put it back together in seven days. The work was predicated by the need to make some repairs in the kitchen and replace some of our air units. Also, it seemed time to replace and upgrade some of our finishes. So an aggressive, possibly impossible, plan was put in place to complete the work during our typically slowest week. All parties involved worked as hard as they could, and the work was substantially completed on time and finalized over the next few weeks. The toll on me personally was great. I spent much of that week not sleeping and feeling like my waking hours were a nightmare. “Why would I tear apart a popular, successful restaurant and re-do it?” I would ask myself, hoping to awake to normal business. However, now that the work is complete, I am very happy with the finished product, and in time, I will look forward to the work that will occur in the bar at the end of May. This May we will celebrate our 10-year anniversary. It is my hope this renovation has us prepared for another 10 years of serving those of you who have supported us through the great recession, the development of Warehouse Row and the incredible growth that has occurred throughout Chattanooga. Please make a point to visit us soon and celebrate 10 years of a Chattanooga original. More to come on the bar remodel and 10-year anniversary soon.
