Today we want to share a tiny sneak peak of tomorrow's event! Our clients in Chattanooga and Knoxville have been hard at work preparing performances and we are so excited to share them with you. Johana arrives at her new home to a wonderful surprise
One of the greatest joys of welcoming refugees is witnessing the reunion of family and friends who often wait to see each other for weeks, sometimes years. Last week we welcomed Johana and Brayan from Colombia. Their friends, already settled here in Chattanooga, decorated their home with balloons and signs, cooked a warm meal, and supported them from the moment they opened the door.
On this #Welcoming Wednesday, we celebrate our new arrivals and the fellowship they enjoy with one another.
Many thanks to the community assistance team from Hixson Presbyterian Church who dedicated their time and energy to furnishing and decorating this beautiful new apartment for Johana and Brayan.
