During the bimonthly meeting Sidney Whitehurst, hosted by L. O. Bishop, spoke about the experiences associated with blindness. Whitehurst shared a personal experience about a person who at the age of 15 lost his sight and how this young man is now a successful businessman. Ever since Helen Keller inspired the Lions to champion the cause in 1925, Lions have served and advocated for the blind and visually impaired. This long-standing mission continues unhindered. We remain committed to continuing this mission. Anyone who has eye glasses to give away, can contact any Lion for more information. Pictured (L-R) are Lion L. O.
