Opening Night!

The DCBA Mustang Dodgers were the Field of Dreams team at the Norfolk Tides game on 4/14/24. It was the chance of a lifetime for these boys to be on the field with future Orioles. What a great day!

It’s that time of year!!!!

A lot of blood, sweat, and tears get left on these mats but memories and lessons that last a lifetime come off of them, too.

Wrestling teaches more than just physical strength. It teaches emotional strength and personal endurance. It teaches our kids that what they put in to it is what they will get out of it and that when they step onto that mat they are responsible for what the results are. They learn that hard work, practice, and dedication will always help them achieve greatness and that if they don’t put greatness in- they won’t get greatness out of it.

Here’s to all the wrestling parents! And to all our non-wrestling parent friends… we will see you again sometime around May/June 😂

2023 Granby Camp at Brads Wrestling Gym is in the books. A few snaps from the final day of camp including their Standing Granby Roll competition winners.

I took about 100 more of all the groupings but the wall of windows made for some very poor pics.

Declan had a surprise early birthday fishing trip with Playin Hookey Charters today. The spades we went out for weren’t biting today so we ended up with ribbon fish, Spanish mackerel, a red drum, and 2 Cobia! Joe reeled in the keeper Cobia!

Captain Bill even gave him a not-for-sale hat as a birthday gift 🥰 We had one very happy boy! Joe and Declan have been on 2 other trips with them but this was my first time.

We had a great time getting to be the first group to enjoy the trails and obstacles at Academi in Moyock.

Huge shout out to Where2Wheel for setting this up with the help of Ruby Coffman for Jeep Expeditionary Club.

I had a blast. Got a little stuck. Got a little winching in. Got a lot muddy. We had a blast.

Fun times we’re had relaxing by the James River with our JEC Jeep club ❤️ no editing on these since they were just for fun.

Christian is a Senior at Great Bridge High School and this Wildcat will be moving on to serve in the Army!

Congratulations to Christian and thank you JaCinda McGuire for the opportunity to expand my skills and try something new!! For a young man that hates taking pictures he sure is good at it!

Tonight I had the honor of being present for the Chesapeake Public Schools Retirement Celebration.

These amazing educators, coaches, and support personnel have touched countless lives throughout their careers. The impact they have made on the children they cared for and their coworkers cannot be expressed effectively but the gratitude and love was abundant tonight ❤️🥰

Huge shoutout to Grassfield High School for the amazing ceremony, the Grassfield High School Air Force ROTC for the colors ceremony, the Grassfield High School Jazz Ensemble and their AMAZING soloist, and the Grassfield High Culinary Arts Students for the beautiful food. What an amazing job by all.
