☀️Throwback - Stroke Doesn’t Mean No☀️ I have heard many different reasons why amputees have heard the word “no” when it comes to getting prosthetic care, and strokes are a big one. But I’m here to tell you, I have provided prostheses for multiple stroke patients. Some with sound side strokes (non-amputated side) and some with amputated side strokes and guess what? Being able to stand on two legs is still hugely beneficial for them, maybe even more so! 😲😲😲 Take a listen to these throwback videos of the day I delivered a prosthesis and the two week follow-up with a transtibial amputation AND stroke patient! P.S.
