Hey WYNG families! This year, we are partnering with Operation Homefront as well as FE Warren to bring you a Foam and Splash Back to School BASH!

Join us Friday, August 16th, from 1-3pm at the Warren Adventure Park Splash Pad for games, activities, refreshments, and school supplies!

Our first ever Border War Teen Camp with the Colorado National Guard Child and Youth Program was a success! We had so much fun and Wyoming was able to take home the boot!

National Guard teens from across Wyoming and Colorado came together over the weekend for leadership, team building, fellowship and fun at Table in the Wilderness! Thank you to Jonathan Catherman for attending with us and teaching our teens about setting goals, growing skills and being ready for whatever the next chapter in their lives might be!

The WYNG Child and Youth Program recently cohosted a Month of the Military Child Family Ball with the Cheyenne Elks Club. There was dinner, dancing, dessert, games, and a fun keepsake craft! CALLING ALL WYNG teens who are interested in furthering their leadership skills and making connections with other military teens.

We are hosting a Teen Leadership Symposium May 17th-19th at Table in the Wilderness in Centennial, WY. Do you have a military connected graduating senior? The 90th Missile Wing is hosing is hosting a Purple Cord Recognition Ceremony for all military connected high school seniors on My 15th at the Trails End Event Center. Register by May 3rd using the QR code or website on the flyer!

Our annual Month of the Military Child Carnival was a SUCCESS! We had a great time celebrating and honoring the amazing military kids in Wyoming! A HUGE thank you to 307 Hatchet House, Laramie County Fair and Cheyenne Frontier Days for donating door prizes and Brigadier General Alkire for attending as our distinguished guest speaker! Thank you to all of our community partners for knocking those carnival games out of the park including members of the South High School ROTC program! We can't wait until next year!

Members of the Youth Advisory and Leadership Council and well as other military kids from Cheyenne, joined us in the Laramie County Commissioners Chambers yesterday for the signing of the Proclamation declaring April as Month of the Military Child! A big THANK YOU to Commissioner Thompson, Commissioner Holmes, Commissioner Heath, Chairman Lovett and Vice Chairman Malm for your support for military kids across the great state of Wyoming!

Our friends from the Powell VFW, American Legion Auxiliary, and our Soldier and Family Readiness Specialist Mrs. Trudy Zaffrano, all showed their support for military kids for Purple Up Day last Friday! Thank you for your support!
