I eat eggs and nuts, which may be a no-go if you're on the AIP (Auto Immune Protocol) diet. If you’re just starting out, skip these things until you’ve stayed on the diet very strictly for a minimum of 30 days, then try introducing them and see how it goes.

I’ll be posting more recipes and foods to try, including some swaps for comfort foods, because I gotta honor those southern roots. 😅

Allow me to introduce myself. Some of you know me in person (thanks for the support), but, many of you do not! I am almost 40, and a couple years ago, I started having autoimmune issues that were pretty scary. I had two strokes, multiple seizures, neurological damage, heart failure, and several other problems.

Of course it took a year of chasing our tails and pints and pints of blood being tested for the doctors to figure out that it was autoimmune related. And of course they wanted me on steroids and multiple pharmaceuticals.

And of course I refused, politely.

I wanted to try diet modifications and supplements first, so follow my health journey and get lots of recipes and diet info here.

Currently I’m doing Paleo/AIP and intermittent fasting.

Y’all know I’m a food snob and I like to EAT! So this stuff is gonna taste amazing, and nourish my body.
