Thanksgiving reminds us of how grateful we are for you.
Some of you know my story..
I came to the USA when I was 19 years old. I was by myself and entirely new to the western world.

I did the research at the library before the Internet era, and chose the State of Tennessee for my destination back in 1990.
That was 32 years ago...

I did not know I was going to be a podiatrist.
I did not know I would be living in Chicago.
I did not know all the great people I met at the time.

I went through tough times and obstacles just like many of you may have.
BUT I am grateful for all of those... which made me grow and become resilient.
Without these people, without those hardships, without those obstacles,

I wouldn't be where I am now.
I am grateful...
I am so grateful to God for giving me all these beautiful opportunities and for my wonderful family here in the United States.
I am so grateful that I could serve my colleagues and impact on their lives and professions.

Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present. Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the thick band of fibrous connective tissue (fascia) running along the bottom (plantar surface) of the foot, from the heel to the ball of the foot.

As covered in the video, the condition occurs when the plantar fascia is strained over time beyond its normal extension, causing the soft tissue fibers of the fascia to tear or stretch at points along its length; this leads to inflammation, pain, and possibly the growth of a bone spur where it attaches to the heel bone.
