We were thrilled to participate in the Federation of Women Contractors (FWC) annual meeting, where we shared our vision for an innovative brownfield redevelopment. It was an inspiring experience connecting with such remarkable women in the construction industry.
At The Invert, we're dedicated to transforming an underutilized brownfield site into a thriving hub of activity, fostering sustainable development and community engagement. Our partnership with FWC is crucial in advancing this mission, and we look forward to collaborating with more organizations to positively impact our communities.
Our Invert Chicago team had the opportunity to bring our message of innovative brownfield redevelopment to Springfield and share our work with our IL State Reps and Senators. Their receptiveness and thought-provoking questions humbled us. Their dedication to public service was evident in the time they shared with us, and we appreciate their commitment to making our communities a better place.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with our elected officials and look forward to continuing to work with them to advance the cause of brownfield redevelopment.
The Invert team had a blast celebrating Halloween with the community this past weekend!
We passed out 1,000 Halloween bags filled with our brochure, lots of candy and saw some amazing costumes. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!

Help Hegewisch Build a Community Center!
The Hegewisch Business Association is purchasing the St. Columba property and turning it into a community center. The center will serve the community for social activities, educational programming, a business incubator, events, and much more.
A community center is a vital asset for any community. It is a place where people of all ages can come together to learn, grow, and connect. The Hegewisch Community Center will provide a safe and supportive space for residents to pursue their interests and passions.

We attended the St. Francis de Sales High School Annual Golf Outing, which was a bittersweet event. We were sad to hear that it was Mary Kay's last year spearheading the event, as she is retiring next year. However, we were also grateful for the opportunity to celebrate her dedication to this event over the years.
Mary Kay has been involved at St. Francis De Sales for over 40 years and has helped the school in many different ways. She is a true asset to the St. Francis De Sales community. We will miss her leadership dearly.
The Invert team was happy to participate in the golf outing this year, and we had a great time. We look forward to next year's event and wish Mary Kay a wonderful retirement!
The East Side Little League hosted its 25th annual bocce tournament at The Invert (Senior) Field, and it was a huge success! The community came together to raise money for the East Side Little League baseball teams, and everyone had a great time.
There was split the pot, food galore, and drinks to keep the festivities going. Whether you were a seasoned competitor or a first-time player, there was something for everyone at the tournament.
Did you attend the tournament? Let us know in the comments what your favorite part was! We hope to see you again next year!
