DBHMS
dbHMS was founded on principles of integrated project delivery and sustainable design.
We provide a full range of services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection, lighting and information technology design.
We were honored to have our work as the MEPFP Engineer and Sustainability Consultant for the Academy for Global Citizenship(AGC) featured at the today in Chicago!
Sustainability was a key focus for this Chicago Public Charter School building where innovative design elements including a hydronic radiant system, water-to-water heat pump technology, and a geothermal well on site all work together to maximize energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and indoor air quality.
With a mission of fostering environmental stewardship, the building itself serves as a teaching tool for the students with exposed and labeled MEP systems and windows into mechanical rooms.
