We hosted a baby shower yesterday at Skyway Bowl in our lovely meeting room, and it is a girl! Family and friends of Kendra played games, bowled, and had a good time Best wishes to Kendra on the birth of her first child. She is due next month. Today here at the Family business , The U.S. Small Business Administration Illinois District. Skyway Bowl has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Legacy Business in honor of its 70th anniversary (1953-2023).

This award has been such a blessing to us and we know my Grandfather Johnnie E. Hill would have been so proud of us. Without him, none of this would have taken place, and we would not be where we are today if it were not for him.

I would like to thank my wonderful beautiful grandmother for always standing by my grandpa and for taking care of her family as well.

I would also like to thank my wonderful mother (Brunetta Hill- Corley) for helping my Grandparents throughout the years with their businesses. It has been her commitment to keep these doors open at Skyway Bowl to serve our community and to have wonderful memorable events here with family, friends and the community. Additionally, my father has been supporting my mom through this family legacy/helping my mom out/staying by her side!

In our family, we are hard workers and we make sure to give back to our community and those who support us. Again Thank you to everyone who came out to this lovely event and we thank everyone who has supported us through our journey!!!

In Skyway Bowl last night, Angela Davis hosted a party honoring Mr. Herb's retirement after 39 years serving in the US Army as a 1st Sergeant and 22 years managing housekeeping at Cook County Hospital. Yesterday June 25th, 2022 was dedicated to his service. Thank you for your service to the USA. This was a wonderful celebration. Here at Skyway Bowl, we're grateful that you were able to celebrate with us.
