For the first time in Chicago Sweed history we are having open tryouts for our Tier 1 and new Tier 2 team coming this winter and could not be more excited!

We are excited to see new faces in the gym and look forward to a great day of volleyball 🦜

Tryouts will be held at Energy Volleyball Club in Niles on Saturday, September 23 from 2-430pm.

The Sweed boys couldn’t be more excited for the VLA Cup to start tomorrow morning at the College of Dupage with 28 of the best Men’s volleyball teams in the country!!

What an amazing weekend in Louisville at the World Challenge!

The Sweed boys went 2-2 on the weekend against two staples of the VLA in and and kept ourselves alive for the Tier 1 championships!

A massive thank you to the , the JVA, and ALL of the fans who came by this weekend to support! This is the best game in the world and we love getting to interact and are looking forward to next year!

The Sweed boys are heading to Louisville April 15th and 16th for the last Central Division event of the season against the and !

Our event will be taking place at the world challenge and we can’t wait to see all of the young talent coming up in the volleyball world!

If you’re in attendance make sure to come on by, take a picture with the team, and find a new favorite player to cheer on! There may even be some free give aways!!!

CENTRAL CUP KICKS OFF TOMORROW!!!

IMPORTANT UPDATES AROUND THIS WEEKEND:
-pool play beginning at 730am tomorrow morning will be at the Illinois Basketball Academy in Naperville. When pool play is finished, playoffs will follow at College of Dupage (Saturday evening)

Sunday playoffs will be all at College of Dupage (quarterfinals through finals)

We do not know the exact times we will be playing as that depends on how long the other matches go in length. We will update our story to reflect game times as they approach.

$15 gets you access to both venues for the entire weekend!

Can’t wait to see all the amazing fans in Chicago and play some great volleyball!

Two weeks until the Sweed boys kick off the Central Cup!

20 of the top indoor teams across the country will be coming to Chicago March 4th and 5th, make sure to come out and support!

Another great VLA Cup in the books for the Sweed boys

Not the finish we wanted but played some ultra competitive volleyball and were a few points from another deep run.

A huge shoutout to the on putting on a great event capped on . The league is in great hands and we can’t wait to see where we go in the coming years!

We now focus on our final event of the year, the Tier 2 championships next month!

It’s VLA Cup week and the Sweed boys are ready to head to Indiana!!

While Friday and Saturday matches will ALL be streamed live on the YouTube page for $0.99/month. Sundays matches this weekend will ALL be aired on ESPN+ with full production crew and should make for an amazing viewing experience!
