FUN FACT: This is the first gift wrap set I ever designed - and I love how it’s still timeless. The gift tags intentionally complement the oversized “tulip” pattern wrapping paper to create the hidden message “for you with love.” Yet each piece is just as cute as a standalone item, and mixes and matches with my other paper goods. - Before having kids, I lived in Chicago and was national branding director for $1B+ international accounting and consulting firm. was always my side hustle. I worked 💯on weddings and invitations in the beginning.

- billet-doux means “sweet note.” My maiden name is Hartz so wanted to play off of love letter or hearts/Hartz. I found billet-doux in the thesaurus under “letter” and knew immediately that was it!

- I’ve always loooooooved picking out my school supplies. (Just ask my sister! 🤣) I still have piles of notebooks, folders and pens that are too cute to use! Who else is like that? 🙋🏻‍♀️

- Now that I’m a boy mom, I appreciate my girly outlet more than ever. My product lines have expanded into categories that I use and find helpful in my own daily life. - I moved back to my hometown, a suburb of Chicago, to raise my family with my husband (who happened to go to my same high school but we didn’t meet until many years later while living in the Windy City). Now my son goes to my same middle school!

It’s tiiiiiiiiiime! Peony and planting season is upon us - and I’m ready! I love getting as much use as possible out of my personalized gift tags in the most unexpected places. Right from my first top secret meeting with this dynamic duo back in January, I knew this endeavor was going to be fabulous!

My favorite part is how they pulled out elements that I snuck into the logo design, like the DH monogram, and peppered throughout the store. Stay tuned as this sweet little logo - and shop - will change with the seasons throughout the year.

Incorporating photos - old or recent- are one of my all time favorite design elements when planning a party. Scatter them down your runner (make inexpensive copies so you don’t worry if they get ruined!) and incorporate into the centerpiece and party favors.

My son’s first communion was a small celebration, but I still wanted the gathering to feel special. I made a few extra goody bag tags (held off on punching holes) and made my own flower picks for centerpieces. Super easy.

I pulled the color scheme to coordinate with his outfit in the photo. To top it off, I lucked into finding an ornament with a Bible verse that’s in one of our favorite songs from his school mass. I just liked the song… didn’t even know it was from the Bible!
