4-6” of snow fell in a narrow band east of Saint Louis up towards Mattoon, IL as a heavy band of snow set up last night.

Much of south central and southern Illinois are waking up to snow on the ground. It was just 80 degrees down there a couple days ago!

Early afternoon Tuesday update: The National Weather Service in Chicago just released this information, mirroring exactly what I said earlier. Start time LOOKS to be after 4 PM, and by 7 PM there should be storms all over the place, especially in the yellow and white circled areas. With the extreme heat, concerns are for VERY strong winds in the storms. Gusts up to 75 MPH would be hurricane force. Of course that won't happen in most areas, but pay attention to warnings. More flooding rains are also expected.

A rare HEAT ADVISORY has been issued for Chicagoland. Hot temperatures combined with extreme dew points will lead to 105 to 109 degree heat index levels on Tuesday and Wednesday. To make matters worse, overnight lows Tuesday night may stay above 80 degrees. This is dangerous for those without air conditioning.

Just an FYI.... lawn season started 2 months ago. We as lawn care companies are always glad for new work, but don't think you are getting instant service.
We have had customers for service since March or before.... You have to be put in the route.
Also you knew your grass was growing a month ago.
LAWN SEASON IS EVERY YEAR JUST LIKE SNOW SEASON.... "hint" line your service up before you get a ticket or your grass or snow is waist high🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

You won't get any more rats/mice, snake, skunks or coyotes. Just cut 'V' shapes on top of the plastic containers then add up water up to the cuts then add 4 to 6 mothballs. The pests do not like the aroma so they will stay away. The mothballs are not water solluble and will last for a long time.

Everyone laughed at me for painting rocks to look like strawberies,.but found out that if you put them around your berry plants and bushes before the fruits appear, the birds will peck the red rocks. They hate pecking super hard things so they will leave the fruit when it appears. No crows. 🍓🍓🍓
