THE REVIEW
Brian Coogan and Cityscape took on the daunting challenge of transforming a sterile courtyard in the middle of our small townhome development (seven residences) into an urban green-space and refuge.
Here are three reasons Brian and Cityscape deserve your consideration:
1.) Broad and deep capabilities including planning and design and implementation/execution. Obviously, first, foremost and primarily this includes landscape design and installation. In addition, the project they did for us included sourcing/building (sizable) courtyard planter boxes and patio fencing. This enables centralized management of multi-faceted, complicated projects. Very client-sensitive as an operating model!
2.) Technically, these people are incredibly skilled and proficient. Certainly, this is a baseline requirement, but, all too often, service providers don't deliver. Brian and his team are experienced problem solvers who are meticulous and maniacally attentive to delivering a superior outcome and product.
3.) Commitment to client service -- including, especially, great communication -- is off the charts. Brian's a confident and seasoned professional, so his perspective is informed and grounded in a lot of experience. But he's also a terrific listener and collaborator. It's a rare thing to combine these so-called "soft" skills with technical excellence and proficiency.

GREAT GABIONS BY CITYSCAPE
A gabion is a cage, cylinder, or box filled with various rocks or soil to help prevent erosion, retain a slope, or provide a landscape element. Gabions have been used for centuries for all sorts of purposes, ranging from landscaping, road building, to even military uses.
Canine Social Club chose Cityscape Landscape to make a statement with their landscape.
The Cityscape crew meticulously picked through and handset each Aqua Blue boulder in the large cages. The gabions became large 3D puzzles and each boulder had to fit right.
