We thank the American Indian Center - Chicago, Chicago Public Art Group, the artist X, and landscape architect Prof. Nilay Mistry for all the vision, expertise, and hard work they put into this project. We were honored to partner with you all!

Horner Park's Coiled Serpent Mound Now Open The spiraling earthen mound, designed by Indigenous artist Santiago X, honors the Native American tradition of mound building with a modern twist: a QR code that takes visitors on an augmented-reality experience.

Yay, Bistro 6050 Plus is open! We missed the good smells and tasty dishes!

As you may be aware, we had some hateful graffiti discovered near our playground. Please come out to our gathering this Saturday at 10am. Bring a frisbee, snacks, or anything you like and let’s show that hate speech is not welcome in our park.

This Sunday celebrate the magic of this holiday season under the stars at The Patio Theater!
At 4:00pm join Chicago's Foremost Theater Organist, Jay Warren for a holiday sing-a-long and a special silent short film presentation of The Little King "Christmas Night" (1933) followed by The Polar Express starring Tom Hanks!
Doors open at 3pm for character photo meet & greets, hot chocolate and more!
This event is free, however, you MUST obtain a golden ticket at a local participating business. For those who don't have a ticket, you can make a donation to The Silent Film Society of Chicago at the door for entry.

There will be a chance to fill out the LIHEAP application, learn ways to lower your energy bills, and, for those eligible on a first-come, first-serve basis, receive a free phone.
