This year as an indie author was a doozy and I am still in awe of what and how much I was able to create during such a chaotic twelve months. My most valuable lesson was learning to put my needs first and to write for me and me only. The jury is still out on how readers feel about this change, but to be honest I can’t ever see myself going back to writing what I think people want to read versus writing what I want to write. This will only intensify in the coming months so if you don’t absolutely love non-diluted Tan with all your heart then please leave me in 2023. Most importantly I am finally in a position to 100% control the distribution of my art so soon my catalog will be completely removed from Kindle Unlimited, Kindle and Audible (if you outright bought ebooks/audiobooks they will remain in your library).
