Today, we pay homage to the incredible Amp Fiddler, a true legend whose light shone bright in the music world and beyond. We were blessed to have him grace us at the TSR Block Party in 2008, a moment etched in our hearts forever. In the face of personal tragedy, losing his son just weeks before the event, Amp showed immense strength and resilience. He drove all the way from Detroit to Chicago, finding solace in the music and our community.

His performance was not just about the music; it was a display of remarkable courage and the healing power of art. Amp Fiddler returned to us in 2018 for the Harper Summer Court Series, once again bringing his unique energy and soul-stirring music to our stage.

Amp was more than a musician; he was a beacon of humility, kindness, and unwavering support for TSR and our community. He embraced us with open arms, always excited to share his gift and uplift those around him. Today, we remember Amp Fiddler not just for the music he made but for the heart he showed and the lives he touched. His legacy will continue to resonate within our community and the many hearts he touched. Rest in power, Amp Fiddler, and thank you for the music and the memories.
