We snuck in a video today with Chris while he prepped for his family's Thanksgiving. Needless to say, we got a great marinade recipe AND an invitation to stop by for turkeys (he didn't exactly say no)! Stay tuned on this one—he gives us lots of tips as well. For this recipe, start with a simple salt brine liquid, and you'll also need apple cider or apple juice, crushed black pepper, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, rosemary, thyme, oranges, lemons, and grapefruit. Oh, and a delicious, local turkey doesn't hurt. This one is from Ferndale Market. HarvesTimes subscribers: You'll get this in your inbox soon, with a modified recipe for 1 turkey, so check your email tomorrow AM!
