"Boxing is a funny business. 4 years ago we were training Maureeca to fight Dee Perkins. Over the years, Dee would stop by Oakley to get sparring and we would give her some tips. In November, she asked us to help her get her first pro win. We had a lot of ups and downs but we all kept focused and she got this win this past Friday in Arizona. Special shout out to Margarita Mendoza for helping with all those rounds of sparring. Dee would not have been able to get the win without all that hard work. " - @danruiz13
