Offering solidarity to our comrades behind bars since 2004! 643 W 31st Street in First Trinity Lutheran Church. Some of us have incarcerated loved ones.
WHAT WE DO: We send books to our incarcerated comrades. HOW WE DO IT: Every Tuesday we gather and read letters sent to us by prisoners. Based on what we have in our library, we mail the requester a package containing reading materials that either match or are similar to what they want. WHY DO WE DO IT: Some of us feel that the prison system is unjust. Some of us believe that education and literacy

Does anyone have access to a cargo van or know how to drive a trailer hitched to a pickup truck? We have A LOT of donated books that we need to get to move to the library this Saturday.
