Renata's Robotica Art
Welcome to "Renata's Robotica Art". I am in the process of setting up a new workshop as I have moved.
I will be posing items for sale on here as well as items already sold. Each post at the top as to whether the item is SOLD or AVAILABLE.
This is the other piece that he bought.
Michael also had purchased a few items a while back that I was not able to get a picture of him with until now. This one was a mirror that I made that included a holder and a comb.
Darth and Michael
So now, something a lot of you have been waiting to hear about. I'm going to post a bunch of pictures of my Darth Vader robot who has now found a wonderful home with a returning customer of ours, whose home is like that of a museum in itself. This is a picture of me and Michael, Darth's new father!
I adore Evelyn, she's such a wonderful lady. Here she is with my puppy dog.
And then Evelyn a previous customer of ours stopped by. She left with this cat box my husband made and my weiner puppy dog. My puppy dog had a bunch of magnetic balls attached to it so that when you threw one of the balls at him, he would catch them!
This couple was so intrigued with many things but finally settled on these 3 items. They purchased my key holder, bracelet and key chain! You two have a great Christmas!
Another satisfied customer with their space bugz purchase. My husband called this space bug, Tank Boy!
This gal was really happy to come across this necklace of mine. It was so wonderful to see someone just so happy with their purchase! Thank you!
Here is another adorable little girl who took a photo opp with my cow bot.
Well my cow bot is still taking photo opps with people! These two kids are just adorable!
This was a day for pairs! Another gentleman excited about my husbands space bugz. He also picked out two of them.
This gentleman just loved my husbands space bugz and decided to get two of them.
Well we had a great time at the Santa Cruz Flea Market this past weekend. This woman was so enthused over these owl bots of mine. I know they have gone to a good home.
Yes this is another gun. But not one that I built, rather one that I customized and steampunked. It is a lighter!
This gentleman purchased the last of my guns. So I'd better get a move on making some more. This particular one was originally a grease gun and can still be used as one.
This gal bought one of my rings and the purse with the chatelaine on it. She was really happy!
The whole family got in on this one! This gal came back to buy this clock from me. It started out as a spun copper dish I found and turned into a clock. I used an old clock box my husband had and the glass face of the clock box.
This gal bought this gun that I made starting out with a plumbing part and building on to it. You are able to use pretend ammunition put it in the chamber and lock in place, look through the sight and point the red dot and pull the trigger! One of my funner pieces. She was excited about it!
So these two gals came back and bought 4 more pieces. I small robot from me and puppy bot from me. From my husband she got the pencil sharpener lady and his owl bot. She told me to put down that they were one satisfied customer!
This woman is a fellow artist who makes ceramic totem poles, can't wait to see some of her work. She purchased this piece from my husband.
And this fellow purchased one of my husbands space bugzzz
Here's another one.
now no one has purchased my large cow bot yet but plenty of people love to take pictures with my cow bot.
Then a week or two later Irene Stevens and Cooper purchased my big girl robot. I'm still waiting to hear what name they gave her.
The piece started out with and was inspired by this very large circular washing machine motor. I had these smaller motor parts I had taken from some disk drives, but until I found this huge one at a flea market, I never knew they came that large.
These next few pictures are of my newest life sized robot. I haven't actually named her yet. I've just been calling her my big girl. I realized that all of the robots I've built are always male. Very rarely does one look like it has a female character to it. So I set out to make a girl robot.
OK all so something really terrific happened at the Santa Cruz Flea Market this past Friday. One of our returning customers Irene Stevens came by and bought my door knocker robot. The interesting thing is that I had purchased the red tank and some of the other objects like the eyes from them at their yard sale several weeks ago. So it's wonderful that the piece ended up being back at home with them!
This made one little boys day!
