she didn’t need much cleanup so we just decided to do the lamination by itself without a brow wax ✨

some helpful tips for after your wax! 🫧🧴🧘🏼‍♀️✨

honestly some of these will definitely make or break your results!! any excess activity can cause ingrowns, breakouts or irritation so definitely try to keep it easy for the first 1-2 days! and remember to exfoliate + moisturize regularly in between waxes 📣❗️✨
(but definitely wait 1-2 days before any exfoliation, let your skin calm down girl!! she went through it 🫶🏼)

the key products for a great aftercare routine to ensure a great wax + to prevent ingrowns ✨

✰ an exfoliating scrub helps to remove buildup of dry, dead skin cells. this helps your hairs grow out properly and reduces your ingrowns! exfoliating regularly also helps improve skin texture + hyperpigmentation
** recommended 2-3x a week **

✰ an ingrown oil helps prevent any ingrowns from forming + helps to treat any ingrowns present on the skin. you want to make sure any ingrown oil you use, contains tea tree. this product will help to kill any inflammation or bacteria.

✰ moisturizing is such an important and crucial step that we should be doing daily, but a lot of clients skip over. when we exfoliate our skin, we are removing our natural oils from our skin, so it’s super important we apply that moisture back with moisturizing daily. having moisturized skin will also help your hair glide out easily during your wax appointment which helps the pain a bit. when your skin is dry + dehydrated, your skin absorbs any moisture it can get from the wax which can result in wax strips breaking + cause a more uncomfortable wax experience.

about 8 weeks! the duration may vary depending on your hair/skin, lifestyle, and the consistency in your after care!

✰ how long should the brows be grown out for the service?
6-8 weeks recommended for first time brow lami clients. 8 weeks for returning brow lami clients

✰ do my brows need a break from constant laminations?
unless your brows are looking unhealthy, then no. if you are doing brow laminations constantly every month & not following proper after care, your brows may dry out from the treatment and won’t have the best results!
