I think, when life gets overwhelming as it often does, it’s important to take time to reflect. Think about the little things that make life so special, the small joys we so often forget to appreciate- I call these ‘glimmers’! Flowers, sunshine, long hugs, books, puppies, fresh sheets, desserts with extra chocolate…it’s hard not to feel uplifted when you think about these glimmers, and it can be a great practice to follow!

We are so happy to feature Orlando and Luz with Love x Luxe Fragrance Co as our makers of the month!! Here is their story . . .

"We always loved candles and ambiance. We always had candles burning in our spaces in order to help match the vibe. However, we didn't always find the candle that was right for us.

So paired with that and our disdain for the corporate world we decided to launch our own candle company.

We love luxury, and everything that we do, we put pour our love into it. So we called our company Love X Luxe meaning Love and Luxe. It is run by myself, Orlando, and my beautiful fiancé, Luz (she's the boss).

Our line ups consist of two sides: Love, which is our everyday side. These fragranced products are suitable for everyday use, while still exuding our love. Then there is Luxe, which we haven't officially launched yet, but this will be our high-end, small batch line. High end wax, fragrance, and experience from the moment you take it home until the moment the candle is done. Vessels that will stand out in a room and fragrance to match.

We started out with only candles, but have recently branched out to room sprays and melts. We are always looking for ways to expand and try new things as we go. We love the creative process that this industry allows.

Our products are not 100% Midwest: we have 5 Midwest fragrances released currently. We use MB150 wax and clamshells for our melts, plus Midwest Room Spray Base. Trust and believe that we do have many many more Midwest fragrances in R&D right now and plan to release more soon. Our favorite MWFC fragrances so far are Laundry Day, Iced Vanilla Woods, and Fruit Loops- but we really haven't had a single fragrance that we didn't like from MWFC. We are leaning on Midwest more because they provide quality products and super fast shipping. Plus Midwest stands behind their products and you can feel the love in everything, which is what we strive to do as well."

Hi friends! Kenna here to share another sneak peek for today! This is my second favorite scent from the launch I think (I don’t know tho… they are all so good!)

This scent is apart of the “multi-seasonal” collection within the collection LOL! I think it’s going to be perfect for year round collections but great for fall/winter time too!
It’s has spicy, earthy, woodsy vibes to me and I just love it! My scent palette has changed over the years into liking more scents like this (I used to be an avid gourmand lover… still am🤪 but woodsy scents are sneaking up on me!)

Can’t wait for y’all to try this! 💛💛💛

All three of these are perfect for winter and holiday themed products, and we created them to capture the essence of fond memories of past holidays and beautiful winter escapes. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite fragrance oil, since it changes every week LOL...but Anna here has had a LONG TIME favorite - Mahogany Coconut! 😂 This fragrance is a FANTASTIC choice to add to your lines for the summer months, but can easily be branded to keep in stock year round!

A little bit of a throwback, but it's getting so warm outside and one thing that Doug & I LOVE to do when the weather is nice is GOLFING! This is something I didn't expect to like as much as I do, LOL, but you never know what you'll discover about yourself when you step out of your comfort zone! We always have a blast together, and we use this time for ourselves to recharge- which is something I encourage ALL OF YOU to do! Take days off when you can, and do something that makes your heart happy! 🥰
