The First Wisconsin chapter, Muskies inc. Annual Youth Spring Tune up is in the books. Crummy morning weather kind of kept attendance down, but the people that did attend had a pretty productive day until the sun and pleasure boats came out. Highlight of the day was youngster Easton Rabska catching a (33.75”) , and a second to boot! Kevin Rabska took home the new traveling trophy we had made this year with a nice 40” fish. A few other fish were in the mix as well. During lunch, we handed out some rod and reel combos and some baits. Huge thank you to Bill Green and Tooth Tamer Rods for making that possible. The kids loved em!
Reminder: On this upcoming Saturday, June 8th we are holding our annual youth outing on Holcombe Flowage. We are launching out of Pine Point County Park at 8 am. If you are planning to attend, please show up a little early so you can sign waiver forms. Full details and rules are in the latest news letter. If anyone has any youth anglers attending please let Matt Ross know so we can make sure we have enough boats. We will have some door prizes and other awards for the kids.
