This is definitely the single biggest sheet of glass Max and I have ever owned!! I’m 5’5 for reference and had to stand on my tippy toes to see over it 🤣

Current piece I’ve been working on is a commission that I won’t show until it’s with the client and is actually much further along in the process but early on I made an accidental John Lennon with the teeny tiny pieces when I was trying to show how small these are 😋 Pinky for scale!

Starting something new 🌹💀💖

I wanted to share this lovely lamp that is part of our personal collection. It’s extra special for Max Cormendy and I since the lamp shade was made by his parents in the 70’s and is the only one they made that we own! We set out to upcycle a regular clear glass lamp we found at goodwill and made medieval themed panels for it featuring a sword, an arrow, candlelight, and castle towers. We didn’t originally plan on using this shade but the lamp didn’t have one of its own when we purchased it, and when we looked around the studio we realized we had it as an option! The lamp shade had been set aside after it was originally made in the 70’s and needed quite a bit of cleaning up due to a cement accident that also occurred sometime in the 70’s 😄 Once it was cleaned and uncovered we realized the colors matched the panel pieces we had just made and it had a crown like shape to it that just brought the lamp together beautifully 💖

Needless to say it is our favorite of the things we’ve made and one of the first so it will be a treasured family piece for years to come. ❤️

This lovely Zelda panel is completed and off to be framed up! The texture of the water droplet glass is so fun to touch, looking forward to seeing the final product before it goes up in the new shop at MuffleRippleFrit.com!
