Seeking an electrician to perform electrical infrared scans for healthcare and commercial facilities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and surrounding states. A level 1 or level 2 infrared thermography certificate is preferred but not required. Must have knowledge and experience with various electrical distribution system components such as switchgear, distribution, motor controls, branch panels, etc.

Work is located primarily throughout the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and surrounding, drivable states. Additional travel via air may be required at times. Home every weekend! Paid per diem and mileage.

Requirements:

Knowledge and experience with electrical distribution

Self disciplined - can work on your own

Pass a background check and drug screen

Good computer skills

Working, dependable vehicle

Great references

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Follow up from last weeks "HOT" pic. As you can see, the camera only registers to 536° F, as that is the max setting for the unit. However, science tells us that in order for metal to appear hot (turn red) in has to be heated in excess of 900° F. This equipment had all the makings for a catastrophic failure.
