This is how we balance wheels here, with a static balancer. Go to any professional roadracing event or trackday and you will see this is how it’s done at the track. Physics doesn’t lie, it’s either balanced or it isn’t. There is no computer to calibrate. Most shops use a computer balancer that was calibrated…when? Why is it after you remove a wheel from a computer balancer and then remount that same wheel it will typically tell you where to add more weight?
