I am not usually quick to jump on any bandwagons when it comes to products I hear about. I’m always sceptical and not very trusting with products. However, over the last few weeks, I have had clients come in wearing a patch and sharing information with me about LifeWave. I have seen actual results in regards to pain with my clients enough to get me interested. I went to a meeting where they explained how it works and gave me information. I started researching it more and more and decided to order some for myself. I just got mine in so that I can try it for myself and my family members to be able to share more with you along the way. I signed up as a partner so that if anyone is interested in trying these products, they can order through me. The patch that has me the most excited is the X39. This patch is designed to awaken stem cells that are dormant in your body. By the time you are 30, half of your stem cells are no longer working. Stem cells are designed to go to where they are needed in your body and work in that area to make you stronger. The number of dormant stem cells increases as we age.

I cannot wait to see how this works for me and my loved ones. Some of the things we are trying this for are, joint pain, fibromyalgia, nerve pain, epilepsy, diabetes, migraines, inflammation and more. This is wearable light therapy. We all know how I feel about red light therapy and what it can do for you. Praying this is a product that can help a ton of people. Hello everyone! As always, I want to thank you all for supporting my small business and being amazing clients. I have been so blessed with the best. I am posting a new service list with pricing. I started off with lower than average pricing for each service and have put off raising prices for as long as I was able to. Unfortunately, my overhead has increased significantly over the last two years so I am having to raise my prices slightly. I was so hesitant to raise them because I want massage therapy to be affordable and I know that your cost of living has increased as well. I am still able to keep them lower than most Texas spas. The most any service went up from what my prices previously were is $10.00.

New pricing will start with the new year.

If you have purchased or received a gift certificate, those will still be good with the old pricing.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I’d be happy to talk with you. I value your business more than you know and hope that everyone is understanding.

I want to mention too that It is still rare that I can take on a new client. My schedule stays booked out with re-occurring appointments with my regular clients. On the off chance that I can see a new client, I cannot promise a regular spot. I will continue to call people off of my waiting list as spots open up or someone lets their regular time go. Like I said before, I am blessed. I would have never imagined that my little business would take off like it did and I am so thankful.

I have more inhalers made! If you are having sinus issues with this weather, the Eucalyptus can help keep you breathing easier. If you struggle with nausea, headaches or colds, the Peppermint inhaler is a great choice.

I still have some of the Balm as well. You can use the Balm on sore muscles, sinuses, temples and the back of the neck for headaches, lip balm or to have the scent on you to help you go to sleep.

One of my favorite businesses in town is Slowpoke. They are such hard workers and genuinely good people. There is so much that goes into the foods that they offer that we don’t even see. They are open Thursday-Saturday for lunch but working hard daily to prepare the foods/goods they offer. They teach great work ethics and pass on knowledge in so many areas of life. Joy and Kerry Hedges have built a wonderful business for us all to enjoy and have touched many lives in the process.

The Balm is Celebrating T•W•0 Years in business. I never could have imagined that my business would be where it is today after only two years. This has only been possible because of my amazing clients.

Some of you I have seen since I didn’t even have a space to see you in and I wasn’t allowed to charge you yet. I would load up my table and come to your home or another location.

Then I was able to rent a tiny little space which worked perfectly to get me started. I was so nervous that it would take a long time to build clientele. Boy, was I wrong! You all filled my schedule from day one and I have loved every minute of it. Fast forward and I was able to find a great building and have added rooms with other services. The Balm was able to purchase this building last month! I love it so much and actually, a few years ago, I saw that this building had been redone. I wasn’t in massage school yet but kept thinking, what can I put in that building??? Little did I know, there was a plan in motion that I didn’t know about. It took a lot to get here but I am so thankful for the outcome. God works in mysterious ways! I look forward to serving you all for years to come!

Thank you all for being patient with me while I heal! I go for my follow up tomorrow, prayers that I get the all clear to start back. I will do my best to work those of you in that I had to cancel. To my clients I have had to reschedule while I’m off recovering, I will be able to go up to the shop some starting tomorrow. I can’t give a massage but if you would like to set up a time to use my new massage chair, it will be available. $20.00 for 30 minute slots. it’s pretty amazing! As soon as I’m cleared, I will be back in it myself.

I am getting with everyone that is scheduled Monday-Wednesday next week. I can’t go back until I am cleared which will hopefully be after Wednesday next week. 🤞 if it weren’t for what I do, I could go back sooner but it’s such a physical job that it’s going to be longer than if I had an office job. If I have extra spots open after those I had to reschedule have had a chance, I will open up for others to use the chair if interested during this time. After everything is back to normal, the chair will be available every day after 3:30 to schedule time slots.

Good Morning everyone! Unfortunately, The Balm will be closed next week, April 3-7 due to an unexpected emergency surgery I had to have. I am ok and on the mend but have to take a little time off. I am reaching out to clients individually about their appointments. I try so hard not to have to cancel people but I have the best clients/friends that are so understanding. I appreciate y’all more than you know!

I will know more about the following week after I talk to my surgeon. I might have to move a couple of those days as well. So sorry for the inconvenience.

I went to the showroom and tried out the different chairs to find the best one for my clients. I have been researching these for months now and finally made my move!

As soon as I finish my very enjoyable research so that I can better help my clients know what is the best option for them, this will be a new option! I am working on the business side of things and pricing at the moment.

In the beginning, it will only be offered to Existing Massage/ Red Light Therapy clients until I see how the flow will work with my massage schedule and the Red Light Therapy schedule.

This will be available after hours when you think to yourself, “I sure would like a massage” You can call me and I can give you access to it.

A hands on massage by a therapist is always our first choice but it sure is nice to have another option when that just isn’t possible. This thing is awesome, y’all. Zero Gravity, massages your head all the way down to your feet. Feels like actual hands kneading you. It has amazing pressure and an Infrared heating option. Lots of pre set options to choose from or set up your own favorite. It adjust to your body by doing a scan in the beginning of the massage to detect where your shoulders are.

I will post as soon as this is live and ready to go! In the meantime, I will be doing my “research” 🙂

Well, Pepe 🦨 struck again this weekend 😭 I hear it’s mating season and well, Love literally stinks.

I promise I am doing everything I can to stop him from bringing his dates underneath my building at The Balm but I guess it’s a happening spot.

I have filled holes but looking at other options to detour these stinkers. Two times this close is too much! I aired it out for a long time last night after I discovered it sprayed again. It helped but is still pretty strong. Friday last week was the first day I hadn’t smelled it when I walked in from last weeks episode. This didn’t happen last year so not sure what’s going on with two times already this year.

I am working, I’m sorry to my clients that are scheduled this week or using red light therapy for the smell 😞 I got some new spray I am hoping helps today, I feel like it already has but I may just be used the the smell already this morning from marinating in it.

What is a business or service you would like to see come to Cisco? Does not have to be massage/spa related. I’ve got a couple of ideas I am tossing around but would like to see if there is anything I haven’t considered.
