So many new ideas too.

My very first kiln firing in my home based pottery studio. Firing will begin at 7:00 am. The firing takes 8 hours then another 8 hours to cool down. So Wednesday morning should be exciting to see how it all turns out. Please say a prayer for glazing success.

Today I traveled to Tulsa to do a bit of glazing and picked up a few pieces.
I just love these stacked bowls I made. All about measurements when making these bowls to ensure they fit inside each other.

It took me far too long to get back into Tulsa studio while working on our kitchen, but I completed the trimming and handles on these mugs. Now let’s pray that these make it through to the next stage.
Greenware Stage is now in drying phase.
Next stage will be its first firing to a bisqueware stage.

Not trying to be cool wearing my sunglasses…. Can’t see without my prescription glasses and I left my regular glasses at home. Oops 🕶

Taking this Saturday to work on mugs. It takes time for hands to develop muscle memory when doing a different shape.
Now to allow clay to rest all wrapped up and attach handles later this week.
