We are a small family homestead living off the property we have. Learning new techniques to share Our Homestead is very busy! We grow veggies and fruit.
However, we offer free produce to those that cant afford it. That is the primary reason we do this. Although, we do sell some of our produce to help support the cost of providing others with free food. We produce maple syrup. We are adding honey bees this year.

On our homestead we have a plethora of plants both indoor and outdoor. Some of them function for the purpose of medicinal and culinary uses. Others are for their beauty or keeping pests away. (Like mosquitoes 🦟) Houseplants are great for your indoor environments because:

Super happy with maple syrup season so far
We have collects 300 gallons of sap in just to short runs that we have had so far
And that has made 6 gallons of syrup

One of the reasons we love homeschooling is because we have the freedom to stop and review tricky concepts until our littles have a better understanding. It not only helps them master the concept, but also teaches me (Holly) how to teach them better! So today we are taking a break from our regular curriculum and working at a better understanding of “one fewer.”
