Lett Racing
Dirt track race team Johnathan Lett - Driver of car 28
James Lett - Driver of car 75
Sebrena Mun - Driver of car 23
Lett Racing is currently looking for sponsors for the 2024 season. We plan on running limited schedule this year, about twice a month depending on the schedule.
We have created a new Lett Racing group here on Facebook, for those of you who hadn't received an invite to it. We have been having a lot of problems with this team page for nearly the entire season and last night was a final straw for us. We will be moving all future posts over to the new group page, as there won't be so many restrictions. It is also called Lett Racing. If you have trouble finding this new page, please get ahold of Johnathan Lett or Sherrie Lett and we will try to help get an invite sent to you. Thank you all for your support and we hope to see you on the new Facebook group.
Happy Veteran's Day from all of us at Lett Racing
Lett Racing wants to wish a Happy 13th Birthday to our driver of the 23 car, Sebrena Mun.

What a way to finish out the season! John ran double duty again and managed to finish both races in one piece! He took a 3rd place finish in pure mini and 4th in mini mod.
We have a lot of work to do during the off season and the plan is to have two cars back out there and Sebrena behind the wheel of one. See ya on the flipside!
Be sure to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven't already! We will likely have some updates during the off season.

Last points race of the season! Last race for Lett Racing. The weather is nice. Bring. Jacket and watch a great Last night!
Tomorrow, Saturday October 21st, we will be making our last appearance at Clarksville Speedway for the year. All in all it has been a really fun year running in the pure mini stock class and running a limited schedule in the mini mod class. We're hoping to come out and put on one more good show. Before we end this season, we would like to give a huge thank you and a shout out to all of our friends that we have raced and participated with. Give these guys a look and show them some love.

Chance racing for Bobby getting us hooked up with the 28 car.
Sherrie Lett for supporting everything the team has done all season and for all the race videos.
Again I am sure there are a lot of people that we are missing here. I definitely personally want to thank everybody who follows the page for your continued support for our team. Thank you everybody for a great 2023 season, and hopefully we can come back and have another great 2024 season.
Good morning everyone! After a small rain delay last night, we were able to get some racing in. John did well in both classes! He and 87A had fun racing for position in both races. Sadly, John hit a rut in the mini mod race and drove a tire off the bead, having to pull in early. Thankfully there was no damage to the tire!

It's a little chilly but should be a good night of racing! Bring a blanket and enjoy some mud slinging.
Lett Racing will not be attending Fall Brawl at Clarksville Speedway this weekend. We will see everyone the following weekend.
John put on quite a show last night!
John and the 87A (Art Peck) battled over position on the mini mod race. Art managed to get and stay in front of John and barely beat him across the finish line as his car decided it was done playing nice. John ended with a 4th place finish in the mini mod race.
In the pure mini heat race, he and the 622 (Jennie Thomas) really fought for second place. It was so exciting to watch! It looked like they were going to have a similar battle during the feature, but John shredded his tire and ripped part of his bumper off the car. It was his first blown tire all season and the first race he wasn't able to finish!

Pure Mini Heat race 9/23/23 What a race! Driver of the 56 is ok. Yes, that was Sebrena's old car.
John was running really well until this happened. The tire shredded and took some of the bumper with it! When he breaks it he can't just do a little damage. It could have been a lot worse! Videos will come tomorrow
Let's do this!
Love this in car footage from John's pure mini race on 09/09/23. You can really see what he sees and what he's doing.
It was a great night for Lett Racing. John ran well all night long and pulled off 4th place finishes in both Mini Mod and Pure Mini!

It's another beautiful day for racing! There will be no racing next weekend so if you aren't busy come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather and some good racing!
Happy Friday to our racing family! We wanted to give an update on Sebrena ( #23)
First, we want to thank each and every one of you for the support and concern. We have such an amazing racing family and appreciate how much every one of you care. Having at least one person check on her every single week means more than we can possibly say.
To say the least, this has been tough on Sebrena. It's been just a couple of days shy of a month since her seizure. We asked her thoughts on going to the track to watch John as we knew it would be hard to watch and not race. As you have seen, she's been there watching and helping however she can. But it's been hard. All she wants is to be out there and racing with and for you all.
The journey hasn't been the easiest. We had to adjust Sebrena's meds because they were making her too tired. The new dose proved to not be strong enough as we have now learned she's been having "absent seizures". These are blank stares that usually only last a few seconds and can happen at any given moment, even mid conversation.
So now the dose goes back up. We are going to take measures to also try and increase Sebrena's energy level while her body adjusts to the meds. The change in the weather and some skin allergies are playing a factor in this as well. We often have to give her Benadryl for the allergies which then make her even more tired. (That's why you always see her in long sleeves and a hat. To protect from the sun for both the allergies and the seizures. )
So again - thank you. This girl has been put through the ringer these last few months, but getting support and care from everyone is important and appreciated!
Last night was quite the night for Lett Racing. John ran hot laps for Pure Mini and as soon as he crossed the finish line, the car lost all power. Thanks to our friends, Joe and Trey, we were able to find that the Serpentine belt broke and when it snapped it broke some wires that connected his crank sensor. Sherrie took off for a new belt while the men worked hard on the wiring.
John made it back out in time to qualify for Mini Mod. He started last in both classes for feature and raced his heart out. He finished 7th in Pure Mini and 6th in Mini Mod.

It's a beautiful day for racing! John is running double duty tonight. Come on out and enjoy some good times!
Well last night didn't go quite as planned. John had an issue on his car, so ran the new one in both Pure Mini and Mini Mod. We are glad he got to! There is some work to do to both cars.
John managed to finish 5th place in both races and is confident this car will be great for Sebrena when she is able to get back out there.
We plan to be back in two weeks with John driving his own car. Videos below.

We are back! It's warm out, but we hope to see you here! John is going to give Sebrena's car a run tonight and see how it feels. We need to make sure it is set up right. We may see him running both cars throughout the rest of the season to keep the car in good working order.
We have sad news.
On Thursday, August 10, 2023, I (mom/Sherrie) witnessed Sebrena ( #23) have a seizure. After a very long overnight stay in the hospital we finally got some answers.
The EEG picked up activity and it was decided Sebrena has epilepsy. They are starting her on a 500mg twice a day med and we will work with them until we get the dose right.
My sweet girl is done racing for the season. If you know her, you know that is her favorite thing ever and she is devastated. But we have amazing friends and family who I know will help support all of us as we transition through this. Please, if you see her in the stands, love and support her.
Our hope is that this isn't the end. The neurology team was optimistic that she would be driving again when her meds get sorted out and she goes a while without another seizure.
She may be down, but she ain't out. This girl has no quit in her. She's the toughest girl I have ever known and I have faith she'll be out on that track again.
It has been a busy few weeks for Lett Racing. Sebrena got a new car. A 5 speed new car. With a stage 3 racing clutch. Enjoy a little glimpse into how our last few weekends have been. (Stick with it to the end. It'll be worth it). Hope to see you all at the track real soon! π

What a crazy night! The stands were packed for the first time in months and the track was full of adventure. One car climbed the wall so high it flipped on its roof. Another car lost its wheel. The wheel flew over the fence and hit a fan. Another lost his wheel causing him to roll hard. All drivers walked away. Our friend Tyler was hurt after his roll, but will be ok.
John and Sebrena managed to stay in one piece last night, though they both had close calls.
Sebrena ran the Toyota as her car was down. She hadn't been in that car in a while so had to relearn it but did well and ran a clean race. Nearly tapped a lead car as he passed her, but she managed to correct her turn and stay free. She finished 7th in the Mini Mod race.
John ran his car in both Mini Mod and Pure Mini and pulled off 4th place in both races! So proud of how he ran. He and another car touched in the mini mod feature, and held onto each other for a minute but no real damage was done and once they broke free both were able to finish.
Waiting out the rain, but we are here and waiting the rain out. Come on out and watch our last race for a few weeks
