🕺Disco fever has hit our Old Hickory clinic! 🎵

Our Old Hickory staff asked patients to vote on the theme for their American Cancer Society - Tennessee fundraiser, and they chose "I Will Survive." Our Old Hickory clinic is now decorated accordingly in a disco theme!

Over the weekend, some of our staff rolled up their sleeves and volunteered to pack meals for Feed My Starving Children at Bellevue Church of Christ. The results? Mind-blowing!

⭐ 864 boxes of food packed
⭐ Over 186,000 meals packed
⭐ 511 children in need fed for an entire year

Thanks to Bellevue Church of Christ for hosting and organizing this fantastic opportunity to serve and give back to those in need! 🙌

STAR Physical Therapy is thrilled Friday Night Lights are back! Did you know we provide Athletic Training Outreach to over 40 high schools across Tennessee?

Look for our Athletic Trainers on the sidelines this season. Say hi and thank them for what they do! They work hard behind the scenes to prevent, diagnose, and rehabilitate injuries to keep athletes safe, healthy, and in the game. They are also there to respond to emergencies. A simple "thanks for keeping our players safe" can make their day! 😃⭐

Our Brentwood Clinic Director, Chad Jordan, PT, CHT, had a fantastic time today at Kirkland's Home Health Fair! It is always exciting to connect with our neighbors in the community and meet new people. Thanks to all who stopped by to visit us and learn more about physical therapy!

We’re so happy Ms. Cricket reached her physical therapy goals! She started physical therapy at our Alamo clinic in July with severe knee pain due to osteoarthritis, making things like getting in and out of the tub, going up and down stairs, and even sleeping 6-8 hours difficult. She now has full knee range of motion, very minimal pain, and can do all those things without difficulty!

In her words, “I am alot better. I am very well pleased”.

We were honored to host Congressman David Kustoff this week at our Dyersburg clinic! We showed him the "why" behind the excellent care we offer across our 74 locations and discussed the SAFE Act.

By 2030, an estimated 52 million Americans will experience a fall, resulting in 12 million injuries. By then, the financial burden for American taxpayers is projected to be 50 billion dollars due to fall-related injuries.

The SAFE Act, which stands for Stopping Addiction and Falls for the Elderly, aims to improve Medicare coverage by providing seniors with no-cost access to fall risk assessments and fall prevention services by physical or occupational therapists during annual wellness visits or initial preventive physical exams. It's crucial as falls are the leading cause of injury for people over 65.

We commend Congressman David Kustoff for his support and for recognizing the value of physical and occupational therapy in the lives of our patients. By strengthening access to physical therapy for aging Americans, we can improve lives, prevent falls, and reduce healthcare costs!

Our Bolivar Clinic is putting the "The SMACKDOWN On Cancer!"
