I think I made 20 tins just last week… That’s because it’s AMAZING at keeping those nasty summer bugs away from you and your family!! Just in time for back to back shows this weekend AND Father’s Day (which will be here soon!)… the newest product in the Jack’s men’s line- beard oil! This super moisturizing oil is a blend of jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, and cedarwood, sandalwood, and cypress oils. Jojoba oil improves the shine of hair and softens skin. Sweet almond oil promotes healthy hair growth, while moisturizing and softening. And the trio of essential oils- cypress, cedarwood, and sandalwood- well that’s where I got the name, “Pop’s Wood Shop.” My dad is a carpenter and to this day, one of my favorite smells was the smell of his shop. One thing I love about the warmer months is that it’s finally time to start planting and harvesting the goodies I use all year around in my products- like these beautiful calendula flowers. These will dry for a couple of weeks til they’re good and crunchy to the touch, then they’ll steep in oil to become a super healing calendula oil that goes into my healing hand and body balm, my boo-boo balm, and other amazing products. I love being able to provide not just homemade, but homegrown products for you guys. ✌🏼❤️🧼

I had someone on the post I shared to my personal FB page guess correctly what this wonderful new goodie is… I’ve had several requests for these, mainly because I’ve made their counterpart for a while! In an effort to continue my work on becoming more eco friendly, I’m super proud to show you my ultra hydrating conditioner bars! They are packed with so many moisturizing ingredients- shea, cocoa, and mango butters, along with argan, jojoba, and coconut oil, beeswax for firmness and lavender oil for a light scent and because lavender is amazing for scalp care!! These are basically lotion bars for your hair… you rub it through your wet hands a few times then run your hands through your hair after shampooing (preferably with a Soapy Jack’s shampoo bar, of course 😉) No need to rub the bar directly through the hair or onto the scalp, because the conditioner will spread easily just using your hands! These are something special… Grab one today or pick one up at Sunny’s this Saturday from 10-3!

Rainy day soap restock at our favorite coffee spot, Be Kind Coffee Co.!! Dropped off some new pump soaps and restocked some old faves! And of course we had to grab the St. Patrick’s day week drinks while we were there… stop in and grab your Soapy Jack’s goodies and get some coffee and treats if you’re in the area!

Something new and completely out of the typical Soapy Jack’s line-up is here!! I had a special request from my amazing friend Amanda to see if I could whip up some wood butter…What is wood butter?? Awesome question, because honestly, I didn’t know either! After doing a little research, I learned that this stuff is really wonderful… It is basically hydration for your cutting boards, butcher blocks, and wooden spoons! Keeping these items moisturized, keeps them from drying out and cracking (just like your skin- which is my specialty!!) The beeswax in this butter also helps to prevent bacterial growth also- which is a major bonus! The board in the picture has the board butter on the right side, but none on the left… look at the difference! Simply massage a small amount into your favorite wooden kitchen items and bring a whole new level of protection and brilliance to them. These are available to order now, but will also be available at Manda's Creations Mobile Shop pop-up show on 3/26!!

Happy Sunday, friends! I was doing an order the other day, and the person asked for me to add a bar of one of my favorite scents! I love when this happens… I will almost always pick the same scent!! One of my absolute favorite bars to make and use is the Peppermint + Eucalyptus bar. As a chronic headache sufferer, just a few whiffs of this bright, fresh bar, and any headache I have starts to ease. Also anytime I’ve got a stuffy nose, this one is sure to help clear out my sinuses with its soothing peppermint and cool eucalyptus. It is definitely my go-to relaxation bar… Have you given this one a try yet?? ✌🏼❤️🧼
